Having been in the Valley for a little while, Sulley wants to provide a class about electricity and power in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It’s up to you to help him gather supplies and appeal to a certain glitching someone’s learning style.
You’ll need to drag Sulley up to friendship level 7 in order to take on this quest, but you can do that fairly easily by giving him a lot of flowers or gemstones. On the plus side, your hard work will reward you with a new arcade game for your island – no, it’s not playable – and some nostalgia for elementary school science projects. Let’s get into it.
How to complete The Power of Knowledge
Craft a Lemon Clock
In order to craft a lemon clock, you’ll need the following items:
- 2 Iron Ingots
- Made using 5 Iron Ore and one Coal Ore each. If you’re lucky, Kristoff’s stall might be selling Iron Ingots and if it is, you can buy ten.
- 10 Lemons
- Harvested from Lemon trees which can be found in the Forest of Valor or Glade of Trust
Craft the clock at a Crafting Bench and then return to Sulley, before watching his disastrous discussion with Vanellope.
Collect and repair the Frightcade Machine
After realising that Vanellope might be more welcoming of his lesson if it was given in the form of a video game, Sulley will send you off to find the Frightcade Machine.
It’s located in the Monsters Inc. Realm, in the corridor which leads to Roz’s reception desk. You will have seen this – and likely wondered what it was – during the quest which had you hunting for Soda.
Collect the machine and bring it back to the Valley, where you’ll need to upgrade it in order for it to run on Dreamlight. To do this, you’ll need:
- 6 Gold Ingots
- Crafted using five Gold Nuggets and one Coal Ore each
- 6 Purified Night Shards
- Crafted using 1 Dream Shard and 5 Night Shards each
Once you’ve upgraded the Frightcade Machine, it will turn into the Dreamlight Magic Arcade Game.
Place the Arcade Game down in the Valley
Return to Sulley and he’ll tell you to put the Arcade Game down anywhere in the Valley, before interacting with it to power it up.
When you’ve found the perfect spot, listen in on Sulley and Vanellope’s much more successful lesson.
