Emote to pay respects
The Traveler’s Prayer is an early-game quest in Diablo 4. You can find it as part of Act 1 in the town of Yelesna.
Your task couldn’t be more straightforward here; simply find a shrine and pray to it. However, completing this quest requires an extra button press that might not occur to you. It’s a classic “oh duh!” type of solution, but don’t feel bad; this tripped us up too for a second. Here’s what you need to do.
How to give thanks at the shrine in the Traveler’s Prayer
To start, look at your map to find where your quest marker points you. This will give you a general area to check, but fortunately, it’s pretty small. You’ll find the shrine without too much trouble, but chances are, you’ll see a handful of small fry hanging out around here. Take them out using whatever skills you’ve learned up to this point.
With no other notable objects in the area, you’ll spot the shrine right where the roads connect in a Y-shape. However, just interacting with it won’t do anything. To solve this quest, you need to open your emote wheel. Turn the page until you see where the “Thanks” option is. Use this in front of the shrine, and the quest will be resolved.
That’s all you have to do! Keep your emote wheel in mind, as you may need it for future quests. Or maybe you just want to say hi to other players, I’m not going to tell you what to do.
