X Marks the Spot mission explained
Season 3 Reloaded in Warzone recently introduced the Koschei Complex. This complex is situated beneath Al Mazrah and has gained popularity for its intense and action-packed fights. As part of the Season 4 update, a Tier 2 Story mission called “X Marks The Spot” has been introduced for the Crown Faction, and it takes place within the Koschei Complex.
Within the Alpha Cluster of this complex, there is a locked room that requires a keycode to enter. Inside this room, there is a map that needs to be obtained. To gain access and extract the map, players are required to use an R4D detector.
Let’s delve into the details of this mission and learn how to complete it.
Unlock the locked room in Koschei Complex and extract the map inside
To begin, you must travel to the Koschei Complex from one of the bunker entrances located in Al Mazrah. Locate a vault-like area at any of the bunker entrances and follow the on-screen instructions to travel to the complex. The map provided above displays the marked locations of the bunker entrances for your reference. Remember to bring along a Car Battery and a Jumper Cable. These items can typically be found in places such as garages, car repair shops, large warehouses, and gas stations.
Next, your task is to locate an R4D Detector. Proceed to the Chemical Plant where you’ll need your night vision goggles. Once there, head towards the Central Room where you will find the R4D detector. However, please note that if the detector is not present in the room, it is likely that someone else has already taken it. In such a case, you will need to return at a later time to get it.
Now, it is time to proceed toward the Alpha Cluster. Between the two doors that lead to the cluster, you will find designated spots where you can place the Car Battery and Jumper Cable. By doing so, the doors to the cluster will open. Enter the cluster and navigate through a vast area occupied by AI Soldiers and sentry guns. Towards the far right of this area, you will come across a set of stairs.
Ascend the stairs while remaining prepared to engage any enemy soldiers and sentry guns.
Once you have successfully dealt with the opposition, use your R4D Detector just above the keypad adjacent to the yellow door. You will observe three symbols displayed on the screen. It is crucial to remember these symbols, as you will need to comprehend their meaning. Descend from the elevated position and use the detector on the chalkboards distributed throughout the area. Each chalkboard will exhibit one of the symbols seen above the keypad. In case you encounter a symbol different from the ones observed earlier, proceed to the next chalkboard until you locate the corresponding symbol.
Upon deciphering the code and obtaining all three numbers, enter them in the same order as the symbols displayed above the keypad. As you enter the correct sequence, you will gain access to the room. Inside, you’ll have the Koschei Complex map. Collect it and ensure a safe exfiltration from the complex to successfully conclude this mission.
