Head to Hateno
After finishing up specific quests or scanning oodles of amiibo in Tears of the Kingdom, you might notice that your key inventory is filling up with glider fabric. The catch? You can’t just select the fabric and change it up: you need to go to a specific shop to swap it out (for a fee). Here’s how to change your glider to suit your personality.
Go to Hateno Village to dye/change your glider look
Hateno Village (in southwest Hyrule) returns in Tears of the Kingdom, and it has several useful stores to peruse: including Sayge’s dye shop, where you can customize your glider.
You can find the exact location of the shop on the map above, and the Zanmik Shrine allows players to conveniently return to Hateno whenever they want.
After entering and speaking to Sayge, they’ll introduce the concept of glider customization, and provide you with one glider fabric free of charge (Cece Fabric)!
For 20 Rupees you can speak to Sayge and change up your glider: it’s as simple as that! After confirming the change they’ll shoot you up in a miniature canon behind them, and you’re free to float away with your new look, or head back to Hateno village to do some more sidequests.
