How to find the secret room and achievement in the Old Mill – RoboCop: Rogue City

Good as money can buy.

RoboCop: Rogue City Old Mill secret room

It wouldn’t be RoboCop without some abandoned industrial areas, so the Old Mill level fits the theme nicely. But if you want to find the “Good eyes, Murphy!” achievement in RoboCop: Rogue City, you’ll need to get your hands dirty.

Getting in to the secret room in the Old Mill is a bit of a head-scratcher. Even if you know where it is (and you can see it from a few places), getting into it requires a bit of thought.

I’ll save you a bit of searching right off the bat. You can’t get to the secret room until after you learn of Officer Briggs’ location (in the quarry). Don’t waste your time searching the Old Mill until you actually get through the gate into the quarry area.

Once you do, head to the West (watch out for mines) and you’ll come across a train engine sitting on the tracks. This is where you need to focus your attention. There’s a panel on one side of the train. This is what you need to activate. However, it requires 3 points in the engineering skillset to use it. Did you focus your points elsewhere? Don’t fret. There’s a solution.

Further south, down the hallway from the Old Mill area where you destroy all the drugs, you’ll find a small room that contains an OCP recovery charge and a Train Operator’s Handbook. Scan this, and as long as you have enough points in deduction, you now have the knowledge to start the train engine.

The train will crash through two sets of heavy doors before coming to rest in a garage. You’re into the secret room. However, there’s one more step to get the treasure and achievement. You need to go to the side of the train where there’s a ladder. Climb the ladder to the top of the train and you’ll see a fallen piece of sheet metal leading to a balcony. Cross it, and inside the balcony office, you’ll find an OCP Crate. Opening it will net you the “Good eyes, Murphy!” achievement, and a powerful PCB for your Auto-9.
