A sure spot to find a Rebreather
The highly anticipated Season 4 update for Call of Duty: Warzone introduces the impressive Vondel map, which has quickly become a standout addition to this live service game. While players often focus on exploring the main points of interest, you may find hidden treasures and intriguing locations if you search this map
What makes Vondel particularly fascinating is the many water bodies spread throughout its terrain, which may make you think about what lies beneath the surface. With nearly every area accessible via water routes, taking a dip is often worth the effort. To embark on these underwater adventures, you’ll need to find an item called a Rebreather.
Let’s delve into what we currently know about this item on the Vondel map.
Where to find a Rebreather in DMZ Warzone
If you’ve ever ventured underwater in the game, you’re know this gets difficult fast. Over time, your vision becomes blurred, and your in-game character starts to lose health. This is where the Rebreather becomes indispensable. It grants you extra time to explore the underwater depths without suffering these detrimental effects.
Now, if you’re on the lookout for a Rebreather, you typically have to rely on chance encounters. You can find them in various locations such as supply drops, crates, tables, shelves, or even random spots scattered across the map. It’s a matter of luck to stumble upon one while searching. However, there’s good news. A Reddit user recently shared a guaranteed spot to find a Rebreather.
Here is where you can find a rebreather on Vondel in resurgence.

According to this, there is a submerged shack near the Police Station POI where you can find a Rebreather. While this tip pertains to Resurgence mode, I can confirm that it can also be found in the DMZ mode. Additionally, players have reported finding the Rebreather in other areas. These include the Floating District POI, specifically in the garage that connects to the water, and in the aquarium within the Zoo POI.
Once you have a Rebreather, using it is easy. Simply equip it before submerging underwater. As your health begins to decline due to lack of oxygen, press the fire button to activate the Rebreather. This allows you to draw oxygen from the device, granting you the ability to explore water bodies for an extended period.
