The 50 percent approval sweet spot opens the door to more families and villages. However, in some cases, you can get stuck at a lower rank, prohibiting you from advancing in levels. To remedy this, here’s how to fix the stuck at 48 percent approval in Manor Lords.
Manor Lords stuck at 48% approval rating solution
The approval issue is related to prerequisite requirements or a potential bug. The former means you must place the proper structures, while the latter could be associated with game mechanic problems outside your control. You can use any of the following methods to fix the Manor Lords stuck at 48 percent issue:
- Ensure that you have the proper structures placed:
- Marketplace
- Church
- Food variety (Meat and Berries)
- Well
- Storages
- Get rid of the starter Homeless people’s tents
- Wait for a year or so in-game
- Place extensions in Burgage Plots
- Close the game and reload a past save
- Begin a new game
One of the initial steps that worked for me was placing a marketplace. Even if I had Meat and Berries available beforehand, these resources must be placed in marketplace stalls to increase the rating. Ensure enough room for the stalls with sufficient Plot Points. Also, consider using other structures like Burgage Plot extensions with chicken coops and vegetables.
More food variety helps boost your approval rating and unlock more families. Unfortunately, some Manor Lords players have still encountered the percentage problem despite meeting these needs. In this case, you may need to destroy the starter home, which can prohibit your approval status. Delete the ‘Homeless people’s tents’ and then restart the game to address the issue.
In addition to this method, players can wait longer to see if the problem eventually fixes itself. But if you’ve already done your waiting, the stuck-on 48 percent issue is likely associated with a bug. You can use a past save to see if it works better or start an entirely new one. Although you’ll lose out on progress, it could help remedy the issue.
Since Manor Lords is still in early access, bugs like this tend to arise during testing. However, the developers Slavic Magic are diligently working to release new patches to address various bugs and glitches.
