It’s important to remember that not everyone in Lords of the Fallen will be having as much fun as you are. While exploring the Fen, one of the earlier sections in the game, you will likely come across a petrified stone woman asking for her. It won’t be immediately obvious what you should do, but we have you covered.
How to free the Petrified Stone Woman in Lords of the Fallen
To free the petrified stone woman, you will need to hit her with a Radiant spell that causes healing. As I was playing as the Dark Crusader, I was able to use the Radiantburst Parchment to hit her, thus freeing her. If you don’t have the Radiantburst Parchment, you can get this spell from Pilgrim’s Perch, but you will need the Pilgrim’s Perch Key to open the ornate carved door at the Bellroom, then make your way up the ascent route and take out the Scared Resonance of Tenacity Boss, then pick up the parchment from the central gazebo in that room.
When you arrive at the woman’s location in a small cave near the one-way door in the Fen, switch from your lantern to your freehand, then select the parchment and throw it at her. According to our good friends over at The Escapist, you can also use the Sanctify spell to heal her. You can get this spell from the top of the staircase that leads to Skyrest after the Pieta fight. All you need to do is ensure you have the Radiance requirement to use any of the healing spells, and it seems like you will be able to free her with ease.
After you free her, Kukajin will give you a Pendant of Induration, and after that, she will go to Skyrest. The Pendant of Induration will give a welcome boost to your physical defense, so make sure you wear it if you are struggling with enemies that do physical damage. Like many of the characters, she will have her own full quest and can also be summoned to assist you at certain boss fights as you play through the game. When Kukajin goes back to the Skyrest Bridge, she can be found in one of the small antechambers just off the main hallway that leads directly to the Vestige.
