Certain quests in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth have added criteria that will result in a gold badge if you do everything right. The “Flowers from the Hill” quest in Grasslands is one of them. This is what you need to know.
You meet Chloe at Bill’s Chocobo ranch. She goes full too-much-information in telling the party about how her parents died, then asks Cloud to go pick her some flowers to create a flower crown. Now, here’s the important part: she’ll give you a sketch of what she’s looking for.
So, full disclosure: I didn’t follow this sketch. I forgot I even had it. I simply relied on my in-depth expertise on flower crowns, and FF7 Rebirth disagreed with my choices. Whatever. So, you have to put together a boring flower crown. I guess that’s just what you have to do to get gold badges in this establishment.
Chloe is a little more clear as to where to find these flowers. It’s at the very northwesternmost corner of Grasslands, which requires you to go through the wastelands west of Kalm. Once you reach the field of flowers on the eponymous hill, you’ll need to fight some monsters. Once you’ve vanquished them, you’re free to pick your claim.
If you check the sketch, it will tell you what you need. The flower colors you want to pick are red, white, and yellow. Once they’re picked, you just return to Chloe, and she’ll make the crowns. Mine would be prettier, but if she wants to put some drab collection of flora on her head, that’s her deal. I’m done.
