How to get Ancient Battleground Key in Dragon’s Dogma 2
The Tolled to Rest quest rewards the player with the Ancient Battleground Key. To find this mission, go to the pathway to the upper right of Checkpoint Rest Town.
Eventually, a man in red clothing will plead for help. Defeat all the monsters near him and talk to him to progress further in the mission. He enlists you to escort him to the Ancient Battleground, which isn’t too far from your current position. If lost, use Oskar as a guide since he will often lead the way.
On the second floor, Oskar rewards you with Dragon’s Dogma 2’s Ancient Battleground Key. A Nation’s Death Knell grimoire also sits on the pedestal next to him.
How to use Ancient Battleground Key in Dragon’s Dogma 2
From the same room where Oskar provides the Ancient Battleground Key, take a left and go down one flight of stairs.
Look to the right, where a few crates will block off a door. Get rid of them and use the key to open the entryway.
The Ancient Battleground room presents several chests filled with treasure, and the rewards may fluctuate depending on the playthrough. You can also use a shortcut as an exit by removing the plank from the doorway on the first floor.
