Where to find Group Abomination Tacet Cores in Wuthering Waves
Group Abomination Tacet Cores can be found in the Mech Abomination domain in the Whining Aic’s Mire. Look to the southeast side of the map within the Court of Savantae Ruins to spot it.
The only catch is that you must complete a prerequisite quest first, as the Mech Abomination will be locked initially.
How to unlock and defeat Mech Abomination
To unlock the Mech Abomination challenge in Wuthering Waves, complete Chapter 1 Act 5, Rewinding Raindrops. Reaching this part of the main storyline will take a while, so it won’t be available to you right away. Rovers should also ensure that they have reached the suitable Union Level to unlock certain questlines.
The Rewinding Raindrops quest will take you directly to the Mech Abomination location. Once there, the fight will immediately commence. The boss harnesses Electro powers, swinging its long arms to deal damage. That means it’s best to avoid using Electro characters, as they are resistant to this ability.
Following the character Aalto’s advice, target its joints and throw the surrounding rubble to stun it. It would help if you also watched out for its grabbing attack, which will deal a significant amount of damage.

After defeating the Mech Abomination, you’ll have a higher chance of obtaining the Group Abomination Tacet Core as a reward. It can be used to Ascend the character Yinlin. Therefore, if you want to prepare for her Ascension, farm up on this material for a quick upgrade.
Other Resonators may also use the Group Abomination Tacet Core, but for now, Yinlin is the only known character who can benefit from its power.
