When exploring the cosmos in Starfield, you’ll come across many challenges and find yourself in conflict with trigger-happy opponents. Fortunately, you won’t have to venture alone if you don’t want to, and you can have companions join you. If you’re struggling to pick which companion to prioritize, consider Andreja. You encounter her relatively early on, and she has some sneaky abilities that’ll come in handy.
To learn how to add Andreja to your crew in Starfield, read on.
Where to find Andreja in Starfield
If you want Andreja on your team, you’ll have to complete missions for Constellation. You’ll cross paths with her during the Into the Unknown mission which has you searching for more artefacts. After locating and speaking to Vladimir at The Eye, you’ll be tasked with locating an artefact on Tau Ceti VIII-B, and once that’s done, you’ll have to head to the Olympus system and land on Nesoi to find your next artefact.
You’ll find Andreja in an Abandoned Mine while searching for the artefact. The first time you see her, she’s making light work of an enemy, demonstrating that she’s not one to be trifled with. After shooting your way through the Abandoned Mine and retrieving the artefact, head back to the Lodge and show everyone what you’ve collected. After talking to Vladimir and Matteo, you’ll unlock Andreja as a companion.
How to make the most of Andreja in Starfield
Andreja is a master of stealth, which makes her the perfect partner to have around if you’re trying to utilize the element of surprise or are sneaking somewhere you shouldn’t be. She’s also a skilled thief, but be careful if you wind up with any contraband, as you could run into trouble if your spaceship is scanned by authorities.
Hang around Andreja enough and you’ll be able to romance her. This is a very slow process that also requires you to keep her on your spaceship, and not harm NPCs around her or say things that annoy her. Eventually, you’ll be able to propose to her and get married. Once she’s your spouse, she’ll pick up useful items for you more frequently.
If you want to crank up your own abilities to sneak around, work on upgrading your Stealth skill. This will allow you to creep up on enemies more effectively, and it’ll improve the sneak attack damage of your suppressed weapons.
