How to get Anubis in Palworld

Surprisingly easy to breed

There are a few Pals in Palworld that are more sought after than others, for various reasons. Jetragon brings flight speed, Astegon offers amazing Mining buffs and Anubis, the desert dwelling Egyptian god-based creature, is the highest level Handicraft Pal for your base.

Not only that, though. Anubis offers incredibly strong attacks and also drops Large Pal Souls, which are necessary for increasing stats in your Pals. Anubis is, arguably, one of the best Pals you can get and for that reason, players want him. Here’s how to get him.

Where to find Anubis

There’s only one place to find Anubis in the wild — Twilight Dunes.

This small mini desert biome is found in the North East of the forest biome and feels a little out of place, but this is where you’ll find your one opportunity to get a wild Anubis. The level 47 Alpha Anubis can be found wandering the space beneath a gigantic statue of itself.

If you’re planning to take on this battle, it’s worth bearing in mind that Alpha Anubis is incredibly strong. As a Ground type Pal, Anubis is weak against Grass types and strong against Electric types. With that in mind, here are some good choices for Pals to take with you:

  • Mossanda
  • Lyleen
  • Warsect
  • Wumpo Botan

Considering how much effort goes into getting a wild Anubis, you might be surprised to know that there are a long list of potential parent couples when breeding one.

Rather than go through all of them, here’s a few of the easier to manage breeding pairs:

  • Incineram + Surfent
  • Penking + Bushi
  • Digtoise + Relaxaurus
  • Grizzbolt + Loupmoon
  • Univolt + Kingpaca
