Multiplicative damage. Nuff said.

How to get Double Tap in Warframe

Double Tap is one of those mods in Warframe that can be easily overlooked because of its ties to the Conclave. Whatever the case may be, here’s what you need to know about the mod like how to get it and if it’s worth the grind.

How to get Double Tap in Warframe

You can earn this mod in the game by either grinding through Nightwave or Conclave.

The easier option is to gather up 20 Nightwave Credits and buy Double Tap from Nora Night. Depending on where you are in the Warframe version of the battle pass, you may need to farm some more.

The other option is to play Conclave and hope that you receive it as a reward at the end of a match. It’s not guaranteed and may take some time.

What does Double Tap do?

The mod’s description reads “20% Bonus Damage on next Shot for 2s. Stacks up to 20x outside of Conclave.”

This means that with every successful hit from your Latron, your next shot will deal 20% more damage, all the way up to 400%. In short, you have to be very accurate and hit your targets consistently. Otherwise, the bonus damage will reset.

This also works on the Latron Prime and Latron Wraith

Is Double Tap worth it?

This mod is only worth it if you are a good shot. It’ll really show you how powerful the Latron can be if you can consistently land shots. Especially since this is one of the better weapons that got the Incarnon treatment, Double Tap can tear through The Steel Path bosses like nothing.

There are some bugs regarding how this mod works when the Latron transforms into its Incarnon form. Take note of that if you’re trying to maximize the AoE bouncing effects of the modified projectile.

Other than that, even if you aren’t that good with accurate gunplay, pick up the mod if you are looking for an easy 15 to 20 Platinum in the trade chat.
