How to get Pure Quartz in Palworld

Get ready for a trek.

Being a true-to-form open-world survival game, Palworld comes with no shortage of resources both rare and common that players ought to collect to build up their base. A while after you’ve farmed out, uh, pal fluids, you’ll end up needing a bunch of Pure Quartz as well.

More specifically, Palworld‘s Pure Quartz is key for the production of late-game refined resources, such as the Circuit Board. Circuit Boards are unlocked at Technology Level 35, and they are used to make various types of high-precision, high-tech gear. Things such as the Electric Furnace, Electric Heater, and Electric Medicine Workbench, just to list a few. It’s all very exciting and useful stuff, but knowing where to find Pure Quartz is the first step on this particular trod.

Finding Pure Quartz in Palworld’s snowy regions

It’s a good thing that Pure Quartz is practically an endgame-tier resource, as reaching its native regions is no mean feat. Notably, you’ll find silver outcroppings of Pure Quartz in Palworld‘s Astral Mountains, towards the north/northwestern end of the map. It’s quite easy to see the Astral Mountains themselves from very far away, but note that getting to them right off the bat won’t be very feasible. Instead, you’ll need to build up a solid roster of Pals and a whole arsenal of gear before taking the trip.

Two other key tips for reaching far-away regions in Palworld are to unlock as many Fast Travel points as you can, and to get a good mount Pal to keep yourself out of harm’s way as much as possible. Having a handy network of teleportation spots and a great steed will be crucial in getting to Astral Mountains efficiently, so we recommend relying on these tools as much as possible when you finally set out for them.
