Elixirs have replaced pills in Type Soul. You shouldn’t take pharmaceuticals you pick up off the ground, anyway. However, these can be a bit mysterious, so to demystify a bit, we’ll discuss the purple Elixir.
Off the bat, it’s important to note the Purple Elixirs are Mythic rarity. Even when you know how to get them, they don’t drop often. Sometimes, there will be a code active that will net you one, so check out our Type Soul codes guide. There may be an active one right now that will get you the Purple Elixir.
If there isn’t, things don’t necessarily get more complicated, but, like I said, a lot of luck is involved. In short, you get them from Clan Wars and Ranked Matches. Then it’s just hoping that one arrives as your prize. Otherwise, you can trade if you have something of equal-ish value to give up. Or if you can find someone magnanimous enough to give you a deal.
Once you have one, just equip it from your inventory and use it like any item.
What does Purple Elixir do in Type Soul
As for what the Purple Elixir can do for you, its main purpose is to pack your Essence into an item that you can keep in your pocket for later or trade to another player. However, it doesn’t touch your stats, you hold onto them. So, in a way, you can look at it like a refund.
As mentioned above, you treat it like any other item. If you want to restore your Essence, just pull the item from your inventory and use it.
