In the Resident Evil 4 remake, you were able to get attaché case charms which awarded you with various and interesting buffs. These adorable charms were awarded by spending tokens only earned via the Merchant’s shooting range. But with the minigame unavailable in the Separate Ways DLC for the RE4 Remake, how else can you get case charms?
The Separate Ways campaign is a more compact, bite-size chunk of Resident Evil 4 starring the sassy Ada Wong. It goes without saying that some things you may have enjoyed in the base game likely didn’t make the cut. With the shooting range out of the picture, the only way to earn case charms in the Separate Ways DLC is with cold, hard pesetas.
After chapter one, the Merchant will begin supplying you with case charms you can purchase. It starts simple enough with a handful of common-ranked charms, increasing the amount of ammo crafted for handguns or rifles. But as the game progresses, you gain access to higher-tier charms that offer major upgrades.
What RE4 Remake case charms unlock in Separate Ways DLC, and when?
The merchant provides new charms to purchase after meeting with him in chapter two. Charm rarity and price increases as you progress. Here are the charms you can purchase in the Separate Ways DLC, what they do, and when they come available.

The case charms in the DLC are exceptionally useful, and there’s at least one you should absolutely get in every playthrough. Yes, I absolutely recommend picking up the Ada Wong special charm. It’s cheap at only five spinel, and it changes up her gameplay in useful ways — especially once you get to that island. You know the one.
