How to get Sygian Stone in Diablo 4 Season 4

With Diablo 4 Season 4, several new systems were added including the new form of end-game content: The Pit. One of the new resources you can acquire by completing The Pit is Stygian Stone, which is used for further end-game activities. This is how to get Stygian Stone in Diablo 4 Season 4 and what you use the new crafting material for.

How to get Stygian Stone

You can obtain a Stygian Stone at the end of every instance of The Pit that you run after defeating the final boss. Unlike on the PTR, it’s no longer a guaranteed drop at the end of The Pit. However, the higher Tier Level of The Pit that you do, the more likely that you will receive a Stygian Stone or two at the end of the dungeon. Here’s how to get Stygian Stone:

Unlock and Activate World Tier 4 by completing the Fallen Tempe Capstone Dungeon at Level 70+.
Once World Tier 4 is activated, complete a Tier 46 Nightmare Dungeon or higher to unlock The Pit.
Head to Cerrigar and use the Runeshard from the Nightmare Dungeon at the Artificer’s Obelisk.
Enter the Pit and complete it entirely, including killing the random boss that spawns at the end.
Loot the chest and you will have a chance of receiving Stygian Stone.

What is Stygian Stone for?

Once you’ve acquired at least 3 Stygian Stone you can summon one of six Tormented Uber Bosses. The Tormented variant of Uber Bosses is the pinnacle stronger version that allow you to target farm specific Uber Uniques. Here’s all the Tormented Uber Bosses you can summon using Stygian Stone and the full material cost:

Duriel, King of Maggots (Tormented)
- 3x Stygian Stone
- 10x Mucus- Slick Egg
- 10x Shard of Agony
Echo of Andariel (Tormented)
- 3x Stygian Stone
- 10x Pincushioned Doll
- 10x Sandscorched Shackles
Echo of Varshan (Tormented)
- 3x Stygian Stone
- 5x Blackened Femur
- 5x Gurgling Head
- 5x Malignant Heart
- 5x Trembling Hand
Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint
- 3x Stygian Stone
- 25x Living Steel
Lord Zir, The Dark Master
- 3x Stygian Stone
- 45x Exquisite Blood
The Beast in the Ice
- 1x Glacial Fissure (Tier 96)
  - Requires 3x Stygian Stone, 45x Distilled Fear, 250x Sigil Powder to craft
