How to get Tasoma Extract in Warframe

You can extract these from a rather peculiar spot.

Warframe Tasoma Extract

You’d be surprised by just how many resources Warframe’s Duviri region has for you to collect. Almost all of them are exclusive item blueprints, but to get all that Mastery requires a lot of resource collection. One such resource, Tasoma Extra, has a handful of uses for different weapon blueprints but can be hard to find.

You’ll need a lot of the material for said weapons, and the exclusive material is only available in a specific area. Here’s how to get Tasoma Extract in Warframe.

Where to farm Tasoma Extract in Warframe

Tasoma Extract is found exclusively within Duviri caves as a standing resource, noted by its height and the interconnecting tentacles holding its main parts in place. Caves tend to be hard to spot, so the best way you can do this is to fly your Kaithe under the island until you spot an underside entrance into a cave. Once you see one, head inside and slice at any Tasoma you can find. Each Tasoma plant will give anywhere between 2-4 Tasoma Extract.

If you want to speed the process up a bit, you can get a Resource Booster (NOT a Resource Drop Chance Booster) to double possible yields to 4-8 per plant. You shouldn’t do this if Tasoma Extract is the only resource you’re hunting for in Duviri, but if you already have one active, swinging by Duviri can be a good call.

What is Tasoma Extract used for?

Tasoma Extract is primarily used in Incarnon Genesis forms for numerous weapons but has a couple of other uses as well. The full list of blueprints, along with the amount of Tasoma Extract needed, are as follows:

  • Edun – 30 Tasoma Extract
  • Braton Incarnon Genesis – 60 Tasoma Extract
  • Boar Incarnon Genesis – 60 Tasoma Extract
  • Miter Incarnon Genesis – 60 Tasoma Extract
  • Strun Incarnon Genesis – 60 Tasoma Extract
  • Dread Incarnon Genesis – 60 Tasoma Extract
  • Gorgon Incarnon Genesis – 60 Tasoma Extract
  • Kullervo Neuroptics – 50 Tasoma Extract
  • Cinta String – 20 Tasoma Extract

If you want to set some priorities, the Kullervo, Cinta, and Edun are all more immediate sources of Mastery so should be prioritized. Once those are done, some of those Incarnon Genesis forms are well worth going for.
