Do You Dig It?
Tears of the Kingdom features enough activities in Hyrule to last players hundreds of hours. When the surface of the land has been fully explored, Link can head to the skies and visit all the sky islands, or leap into a chasm and venture through the haunting Depths.
If you’re planning on marching into the darkness below, the Miner’s Armor set is a must-have. Read on to learn how to get the Miner’s armor set in Tears of the Kingdom.
Miner’s Top Piece Location in Tears of the Kingdom
The set is comprised of three parts, and the top piece is the easiest to retrieve. It is located in the Depths, close to Iayusus Lightroot, directly under the Susuyai shrine. The coordinates are: -785, -0433, -0469. Start the journey by fast traveling there or, if the lightroot hasn’t been lit, enter the Depths via the Hyrule Field Chasm.
Head in a southwesterly direction. The aim is to get to Daphnes Canyon Mine, which is at the following coordinates: -1025, -0554, -0544. There is plenty of Zoanite around here, so don’t miss out on the chance to fill up Link’s pocket. Climb up the stairs of the ruins, and at the top, there is a treasure chest. It is not hidden at all. Open it and grab the Miner’s Top.
Miner’s Mask Location in Tears of the Kingdom
To get the mask, head to Tatayam Lightroot. It can be accessed by leaping into the Depths via the East Gerudo Chasm, then heading west until you reach Mihcihc Lightroot. From here, head north until Tatayam Light is encountered. It is directly under the Mayatat shrine and the coordinates are: -3291, -2511, -0475.
The mask is in the Abandoned Kara Kara Mine north of Tatayam Lightroot. The coordinates are: -3232, -2477, -0475. Once again, the treasure chest isn’t hidden. Before leaving, speak to the Steward Construct to receive another Schema Stone.
Miner’s Trousers Location in Tears of the Kingdom
The final piece is the trousers. They are located near Koradat Lightroot at these coordinates: -1081. -2186, -0561. This is south of the Great Abandoned Central Mine. You can get there by diving down the chasm atop Mount Hylia and traveling southeast. From Koradat Lightroot, head west and Link will quickly find Hylia Canyon Mine. The coveted treasure chest lies on a ruin covered in poes. The coordinates are: -1288, -2248, -0707.
The Miner’s Armor allows Link to glow while he is exploring caves and the Depths. It doesn’t offer much defense, though it can be enhanced by a Great Fairy if you give her Brightbloom Seeds, Glowing Cave Fish, and Brightcaps.
