Seriously, try it sometime
Destiny 2: Lightfall is out now, and Guardians could be finding it difficult to take the time out to get outdoors, breathe in some fresh air and touch the grass. Fear not though, Bungie was well aware of its creation and the potential results and has come up with the perfect solution. Now, Guardians can touch grass in the game itself. There are no guarantees that this will be as healthy or as fulfilling as the real-life version but hey, who cares when Calus needs dealing with?
To get the “Touch Grass” emote in Destiny 2, players will first need to head to the Eververse Store and stock up on Silver. This is in-game currency purchased with real-life money, and you’ll need 1,000 for the emote. This equates to around $10 / £8 and comes with 100 bonus silver, so 1,100 in total.
You can find the emote in two places. Firstly, it is in Season 20 Week One’s featured items in the Eververse store. If you’re reading this article after that, then head to the archive page on the Eververse store and scroll until you see the Touch Grass emote. Here, you can purchase or preview it. The preview is pretty fulfilling, with brightly colored butterflies surrounding your Guardian as they sit in the long, computer-generated grass. There’s nothing quite like a sweet summer’s day!
Whilst you’re in the game, why not take a look at the new Lightfall campaign which sees Guardians taking on the forces of Calus and his Shadow Legion in the newly discovered city of Neomuna, or dive into some seasonal story content where you’ll be taking instructions from Mara Sov to fight the war on your own home turf, Earth.
Destiny 2: Lightfall is out now for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
