Starfield is full of many side activities you can sink some time into. Whether it’s climbing the corporate ranks of Ryujin Industries in Neon or building a productive outpost, the choice is yours. One of the many mysterious stations orbiting a planet in Starfield is actually a Casino called the Almagest. However, if you’re not sure where to look, you may not know how to get to the Casino in Starfield. We’ve put together this Almagest Casino guide to help you find its location so you can explore all the fun it has to offer.
Almagest Casino location in Starfield
The Almagest Casino in Starfield is located in the Olympus system. It’s located directionally to the southeast of Sol and Alpha Centauri. Once there, you want to head to the first planet orbiting the sun, called Nesoi. Nesoi is a rock-type planet with a breathable atmosphere much like Earth.
However, the Almagest Casino isn’t actually located on the planet, but rather in orbit of it. It’s actually a space station that looks similar to The Eye and other stations you may have encountered so far. Once in orbit of Nesoi, you can dock with the Almagest casino.
As a side note, Nesoi is also where your Dream Home is located if you chose the Dream Home trait when creating your character, so be sure to visit while nearby!
Can you gamble in Starfield?
Despite there being a casino, you cannot actually gamble in Starfield. For starters, the casino has been taken over by Spacers, so things aren’t exactly running correctly. In fact, the Spacers are hostile so you will have to take them out in order to traverse the casino freely.
Even without actual gambling, there are some spots on the Almagest where you can get creative and steal some credits. You’ll also find the Almagest Jackpot where you can search for the backend of the casino jackpot, hack into the backend computer, and enter the proper Almagest Jackpot combination to access its treasures!
Are there any other casinos in Starfield?
Unfortunately not, however, there is a location called the Red Mile that has some casino-like properties. If you visit Porrima III in the Porrima system you can visit a location called the Red Mile. It’s a seedy resort on the outskirts of the Freestar Collective region. In fact, if you are doing the Freestar Rangers faction missions you will eventually visit the Red Mile as part of a quest.
There are a few shops at the Red Mile but also a race course. There’s a side quest called Run the Red Mile that lets you run the obstacle course as well. However, despite the look and feel of a casino-style track and resort, there’s no actual gambling to be done at the Red Mile.
