In the new Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis league there is a brand new crafting mechanic involving the Undertaker and his Necropolis. You unlock this new mechanic after reaching Lioneye’s Watch but aren’t exactly told how to return to the Necropolis afterward. Here is how to get to the Necropolis in PoE 3.24.
How to return to the Necropolis and Undertaker
There are actually two ways to return to the Necropolis in Path of Exile 3.24. Here is how to get to the Necropolis once it is unlocked:
- Kill a haunted monster that drops its corpse. After picking up the corpse, the Undertaker will appear. Talk to the Undertaker and he will have the option to Travel to the Necropolis.
- Go to any Waypoint, either in a campaign act or in your hideout. On the right side of the World Map interface, there is a new button to Travel to the Necropolis.
For both options, the only requirement to unlock travel is encountering the Undertaker which you can do from the beginning. He will give you a quest and the Lantern of Arimor which unlocks the Morgue and the Necropolis.
How to access the Morgue
Even though the Morgue doesn’t have an actual location you can visit, you’ll still want to access it from time to time. The Morgue in Necropolis is essentially a storage space. As you kill haunted enemies and acquire their corpses, they will automatically be transferred to the Morgue after you collect them.
Here is how to access the Morgue:
- Like the Necropolis, after picking up a corpse the Undertaker will appear and give you the option to View Necropolis Morgue.
- When you are at the Necropolis, you can speak with the Undertaker and choose the option to View Necropolis Morgue.
The Morgue allows you to move around, delete, and put corpses into a casket so you can then resell them.
