The only whip released as part of Shadow of the Erdtree and one of Elden Ring‘s most repulse weapons, the Tooth Whip allows the Tarnished to both imbue targets with Poison and impair their stamina recovery speed —the latter through its Painful Strike Weapon Skill.
But where is the weapon located? To help all looking to either complete their whip collection or add an unhealthy dose of poison to their Belmont build, here’s how to get and use the Tooth Whip in Elden Ring.
Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Tooth Whip location
You can find the Tooth Whip in Elden Ring atop a corpse inside the Whipping Hut area. The hut can be spotted east of Bonny Village. More specifically, you can find it by crossing the suspended bridge located right of it, as showcased in the image below. You can also check out how to reach the village by heading further down.
How to reach Bonny Village in Elden Ring
You can reach Bonny Village by platforming down after reaching the center of Moorth Ruins —a feat you can accomplish by following the road leading southeast of Highroad Cross. Don’t forget to interact with Dryleaf Dane at the Site of Grace and make sure to open the chest guarded by 3 sorcerers on your descent to get the Golden Arcs incantation.
Once at the lower level of the hole, follow the path on the right and then climb the ladder to reach the Bonny Village Site of Grace.

How to use and the best talismans
A great surprise pick for PVP duels, the Tooth Whip is best used in a power stance with another weapon of its class. The reason for that lies in how doing so will allow you to keep tabs on your enemy from afar while also inflicting huge amounts of poison. For the second whip, my main picks would be the Hoslow’s Petal Whip or the Thorned Whip for their ability to apply blood loss.
Like all whips in the game. the best talismans for those looking to use the Tooth Whip are the Godskin Swaddling Cloth, the Winged Sword Insignia, and the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia. While the former will allow you to heal after performing successive attacks, the latter two will increase the damage of continuous attacks.
