Like several other live-content FPS titles, XDefiant features character skins, weapon camos, operator animations, player cards, and emoji packs that can be purchased or earned by completing objectives or claiming Twitch Drops.
In XDefiant’s first year, Ubisoft plans to add four factions, 12 weapons, 12 maps, private matches, and a ranked mode. For the first six weeks, XDefiant will be in a preseason period, and then Season 1 will add the first batch of new content. In the absence of new weapons and maps, Ubisoft introduced Twitch Drops as an alternative method to earn cosmetic items.
How to claim Twitch Drop rewards in XDefiant
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to claim Twitch Drops in XDefiant.
- Link your Twitch and Ubisoft accounts.
- Watch eligible streams for the required amount of time for each available reward
- After earning a drop, claim it in your Twitch Inventory, and then it will be available the next time you log into XDefiant
Players don’t need to watch specific Twitch streamers that are eligible for drops. All XDefiant streams give out rewards.
