You fight some pretty ferocious beasts in Dragon’s Dogma 2, so increasing and enhancing your Vocation Skills is very important. However, it can be somewhat tricky figuring out how to learn new Vocation Skills in Dragon’s Dogma 2, for both your Arisen and Pawn characters. Here is how to learn new Vocation Skills for both character types.
Where to acquire new Vocation Skills
For both your Arisen and Pawn characters, you need to visit an Inn to acquire new Vocation Skills. Speak to the Innkeeper and choose the option Vocation Guild to bring up with the screen above.
From this screen, you will be able to acquire new vocation Weapon Skills and Core Skills for both your Arisen and Pawn. You’ll also be able to acquire Augments which are essentially passive buffs. You can also unlock new Vocations and swap between them at the Vocation Guild screen as well.
In order to acquire new Vocation Skills, you will need Discipline Points (Dcp).
How to get Discipline Points (Dcp) in Dragon’s Dogma 2
In Dragon’s Dogma 2 you will need a lot of Discipline Points to unlock Vocations and Vocation Skills. Throughout the game you will acquire Experience Points. Your Experience Points is what dictates when you level up. However, you also receive a fraction of your Experience Points as Discipline Points. Here’s all the ways you can obtain Experience Points and therefore Discipline Points as well:
- Complete Tasks
- Complete Quests
- Kill Creatures
As you can see, the best way to get Discipline Points is to just tackle quests while killing everything you can. Also, you’ll notice that as you advance your level in a Vocation, you’ll unlock even more Vocation Skills and maybe even Vocations themselves. Just keep farming Discipline Points and you’ll be able to unlock whatever you prefer.
