With the Sakurajima update to Palworld, players have a lot of items to unlock on the Technology Ladder. One of these items, the Homeward Thundercloud, puts an end to the frantic search for the nearest Fast Travel point, allowing you to instantly return to your nearest base.
The Homeward Thundercloud is a consumable item in Palworld, meaning that you’ll use up one each time you use it. As such, it’s a good idea to stock up on the resources required and craft a bunch to use in emergencies, or if you’re simply too far from the nearest Fast Travel point.
To unlock the recipe for the Homeward Thundercloud, you’ll need to reach level 30 and it costs 2 Ancient Technology Points to unlock.
