Along with Ulrika’s heroic moves on the battlefield, she also knows how to make a move with her whispers of sweet nothings. So, if you want to win her over, here’s how to romance Ulrika in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Ulrika Romance guide
To romance Ulrika in Dragon’s Dogma 2, complete the following quests:
- In Dragon’s Wake
- Readvent of Calamity
- Scaly Invaders
- Trouble on the Cape
- Home Is Where the Hearth Is
The first mission won’t be hard to miss, as it is part of the game’s main storyline. Despite the dragon’s flames, the fire between you and Ulrika is even hotter, leading you to her character-specific quest, Readvent of Calamity. It requires finding her in an unknown location that’s a long trek away from Melve. But don’t worry; the invisible string that binds you together will guide you, or in this case, a Pawn with a Quest Guide activated.
You can also embark on Harve Village’s Scaly Invaders and Trouble on the Cape storylines after/during Readvent of Calamity. The two missions can disrupt the progress of Ulrika’s romance, so it’s best to complete these events.
After locating Ulrika, check on everyone at Melve again with Home Is Where the Hearth Is. This mission is likely the one you’ve been looking for since it ends with a delightfully romantic moment. I won’t spoil too much with this quest, but the key is to make sure you talk with her at Harve Village during the night. She’ll be stationed at the docks there and will ask you out on a date; at least, I’d like to think it is.
When the steamy moment is over, Ulrika may appear at a player’s house in Vernworth. It isn’t as romantic as the night in Harve Village, yet it is still nice to spend time alone with her. Aside from the missions, gifts can also be exchanged, and her preferences are Adorable and Beautiful items. Return to Harve Village to locate her and try to raise her Affinity level for even more surprises.
How to raise Ulrika’s Affinity level in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Since Ulrika enjoys Adorable and Beautiful gifts, you can provide her with the following items:
- Flowers
- Golden Trove Beetle
- Gold and silver ore
- Wakestone shards
- Fruits
Flowers can be found on the bed of the Inn at Vernworth or randomly within chests. You can also craft the Bunch of Flowers recipe by combining Sunbloom, Moonglow, and Noonblooms. Flora will be scattered near Vermund (Checkpoint Rest Town) and Battahl for the chance to get these materials.
While you’re out exploring, look out for Golden Trove Beetles on trees. Ores may also be close by to farm more Beautiful-type items for Ulrika. Although they may be difficult to find, Wakestones are another excellent resource for gifting. However, make sure to save enough for yourself in case you need a revive later on.
Lastly, fruits can either be crafted or purchased from nearby vendors. Check out our Fruit Roborant guide for the recipe, which can help boost Ulrika’s romance further in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Besides gifting, you can also partake in Escort missions if Ulrika appears at your house. It’s a time-sensitive quest, so it’s best to accept the mission right away. If the escort proves successful, Ulrika’s Affinity will increase.
