Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, the iOS/Android RPG based on the beloved Square Enix franchise, is having a closed beta. Here’s all you need to know if you want to get in on the keyblade-wielding action!
What is Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link?
In the latest trailer, the GPS-based game, similar to Pokémon GO, is expected to be released in 2024. Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link lets players play as a Keyblade Wielder who uses the power of various Disney characters to battle foes. You can also play with up to three people for raids. It reminds me a lot of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories with its combat but upgraded for modern audiences.
What are the system requirements?
According to the game’s website, the closed beta for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link on iOS starts on November 29 at 7:00 AM (UTC) and ends on December 8, 2023. For Android users, expect to get access to the beta in January 2024. In terms of system requirements, iOS members need to have iOS 15 and have an iPhone XS or newer. For Android, you need to be Android 10 or higher and have SoC: Snapdragon 845 or higher. Both require at least 5 GB of space available.
How do I sign up?
Unfortunately, the beta is only accessible to people in the United Kingdom and Australia. If you’re one of the lucky people in those countries, you can sign up for the beta at the official Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link website with this application. Sign-ups have already started and will last until November 19, 2023, 23:59 PM (UTC).
This is the latest game in the Kingdom Hearts franchise after 2019’s Kingdom Hearts III. In 2022, Kingdom Hearts IV was announced for the series’ 20th anniversary. No other information outside of the announcement trailer was given. As a lifelong fan of the series, it’s one of my most anticipated titles, as it is for many other Keyblade Wielders.
