You may proudly sport your Final Fantasy XIV Amazing Manderville Relic Weapon, but there’s another upgrade with customizable attributes and an Item Level 645 bump. The literal glow-up comes with Endwalker’s third Relic Weapon step for a Majestic Manderville Weapon.
For those of you not ready for step three just yet, refer to our guide on the first quest for a Manderville Weapon, then its upgrade in step two’s Amazing Manderville Relic Weapon.
Unlocking your first Majestic Manderville Weapon
You must complete the level 90 Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures quest “Not From Around Here” before you can unlock your Majestic Manderville Weapon. As of Patch 6.51, the Majestic form is the best version of Endwalker’s Relic. Another upgrade should come with Patch 6.55.
To pick up the quest that unlocks Majestic Manderville Weapons, head to Radz-at-Han and go straight to The Crucible of Al-Kimiya. You’ve got a new to-do list.
A Spirited Reforging, the Majestic Manderville quest
- Talk to Gerolt ( Radz-at-Han: X12.0, Y7.1) to begin “A Spirited Reforging”
- Secure a table at Mehryde’s Meyhane
- Return to the Aetheryte Plaza and talk to Jubrannah (X22.7 Y6.7)
- Purchase (3) Amplifying Achondrite
- Deliver the achondrite to Gerolt back at the Crucible of Al-Kimiya
Just as in previous steps of this Relic, you’ll need 1,500 Allagain Tomestones of Causality in order to purchase the three Achondrites required — each costing 500 Tomes. Additionally, don’t forget to unequip your Amazing Manderville Weapon, replacing it with any other weapon for a moment. Gerolt won’t hand over the goods otherwise.
Distributing attributes
In this step of the Endwalker Relic process, you can select three attributes for your new Majestic Manderville Weapon. Two of these attributes increase to +293, and the third attribute only rises to +72. There are three attributes that are shared between all weapons (Direct Hit Rate, Critical Hit, and Determination), and some attributes are dependent on your Job (Spell Speed, Skill Speed, Tenacity, and Piety).
If you’re unhappy with your choices, you can return to the House Manderville Alchemist (X12.1 Y7.2) and redistribute them, though to do this, you will need to exchange a further chunk of Amplifying Achondrite each time you wish to alter your decision.
Additional Majestic Manderville Weapons
As with previous steps, you’re now able to pick up the repeatable quest for this step to upgrade your other Amazing Manderville Weapons by completing “In Need of Adjustment.” It’s given to you by the House Manderville Artisan (X12.0 Y7.2) in The Crucible of Al-Kimiya, and you’ll need three chunks of Amplifying Achondrite for each weapon.
Amazing Manderville Weapon Replicas
Now that you’ve upgraded your weapon to its Majestic form, you can visit the House Manderville Vendor (X11.9 Y7.0) and purchase a replica of the previous Amazing form. As you upgrade more weapons to their Majestic variations, more Amazing versions become available to purchase. Each replica costs 1,000 gil and can be placed in the glamor dresser.
