How to unlock Fontaine Reputation Bounties and Requests in Genshin Impact

There are a few extra steps.

Once you reach the Court of Fontaine in Genshin Impact, you’ll want to start working toward the city’s Reputation rewards. Here’s how to unlock the Fontaine Reputation board as well as Fontaine Bounties and Requests.

1. Complete Acts I and II of the Archon Quests

When you first arrive in the city, you won’t even be able to access the Reputation board. In order to unlock it, you need to complete both Acts I and II of the Fontaine Archon Quests. You can start Act I by heading to Caravan Ribat, and then to the lower level of Romaritime Harbor. These are part of Genshin Impact’s main story quests, so they might take a few hours to get through. Once you complete Act II, you’ll have access to a handful of new World Quests.

2. Complete Steambird Interview

One of the World Quests that unlock is called Steambird Interview. To start this quest, speak to Euphrasie outside of the Steambird headquarters. And that’s it. Upon completing your dialogue, the Fontaine Reputation board should be available to you. You can immediately claim Reputation EXP for the Archon Quests you just did, as well as any exploration you completed. The Bounties and Requests remain locked until Reputation Level 2 though, and unless you’ve explored a lot of Fontaine, you’ll likely need to do some additional World Quests to get there.

3. Do some World Quests

If you’re not quite at Reputation Level 2, you can do some World Quests for 20 Reputation EXP each. You can view the full list from your Reputation board, or see our handy guide for where to find them!

4. Profit

Upon reaching Reputation Level 2, you’ll gain access to Bounties and Requests. These are structured similarly to those in Sumeru. You can do three of each every week for some additional Reputation EXP and Mora.

Bounties in Genshin Impact have three difficulty levels where you need to find and defeat an enemy within a certain time limit. The hardest difficulty awards the most Reputation EXP (100 EXP each) and is not too challenging. You can get help from other players if you’re having trouble, or do one of the lower difficulties instead.

Requests are assorted odd jobs that can involve killing a few mobs or giving some items to an NPC. These are easier than Bounties and grant 40 Reputation EXP each.

In total, you can get 420 Reputation EXP each week through Bounties and Requests. You’ll need 5,850 EXP total in order to obtain all of the rewards. It’ll be a slow grind, but in the end you’ll receive:
