Odd crossover but I’ll take it
Players enjoying battle royale puzzle title Tetris 99 on Switch will be given the opportunity to bag an exclusive skin, based on Nintendo’s popular multiplayer shooter Splatoon. This is an opportunity to add some funky fresh ink splashes to the block-busting title.
All you need do is partake in this weekend’s Maximus Cup event, where you will earn points based on your placing in each game. Once you have earned 100 points, the skin will automatically be unlocked for your device. The fifth Maximus Cup will take place between July 12 and July 15, so be sure to jump on it as soon as possible.
Meanwhile over in the world of Splatoon 2, players are currently preparing for its upcoming final splatfest. The battle – which seems Team Chaos take on Team Order in a war for overall supremacy – will take place next weekend worldwide and is set to be a barn-burner of an event.
