‘Now kiss!’
I forget that PlayStation Home is still a functional piece of software that receives regular content updates, not some lost relic to marvel (and poke fun) at. It’s hard to say who in their right mind is messing around with Home in 2014 — I’d love to hear explanations — but developer nDreams is giving them some new gestures to play with. Let’s just have the official description cover this one:
“Time to get closer than ever to people in PlayStation Home with a bunch of interactive two-player gestures. With these new motion-captured two-player poses and gestures you can choose to receive a friendly hug, lovers hug, high five, fist bump, chest bump, massage, kiss on the cheek, romantic kiss, handshake, or even hold hands!”
Combine those feel-good gestures with two new sound packs which will “grab other avatars’ attention like never before” with such effects as “wolf whistle,” “clap,” and “cheer.” People were already doing weird stuff in Home, so why not double down? Give ’em what they want.
