Youre…causing…more…avalanches
The deluge of dislikes has to be out of steam. Activision debuted Call of Duty: In Space (also known as Call of Duty: Pony Up $20 For the Modern Warfare Remake) just 15 days ago and it has since become the second-most disliked video on all of YouTube.
And while jacking up 2.3 million dislikes in two weeks is impressive, I still struggle to have faith, to believe that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare can punch so high above its weight class as to unseat the undisputed dislike-king, Justin Bieber’s “Baby” (featuring got damn Ludacris, for cris sake!) which sits at 6.14 million dislikes.
The rate at which Infinity Wario has racked up the hate says that it could clobber it, but for how long can gamers be that mad online, really? I’m not saying I don’t want it to cross the mark. It just seems so far away, like Cal Ripken Jr.’s 2,632-games-played streak . Even at the current rate it’ll be another month and a half. Does anyone have the endurance?
Let’s find out. Otherwise, still impressive to unseat both “Gangnam Style” and “Friday.”
