This is probably good for a chuckle. It portrays a terrifying vision of the future in which Jersey Shore is licensed and produced as a videogame. Thankfully, the blow is softened somewhat by how clearly it’s satire. Still, I wouldn’t recommend giving anybody at MTV any ideas.
I haven’t watched an episode of Jersey Shore, so I probably shouldn’t criticize. I can definitely see how some might find it entertaining, that possibility of such a perspective exists and is clearly supported by evidence of the show’s success. But from what interviews I’ve seen with the show’s cast and news items that are forwarded on by people I thought had more different taste, it’s not for me. I can’t even conceive of watching it because I don’t want to try and figure out how it makes me feel. n
