This mock-up of what Pokémon would be like as a free-to-play mobile game has surfaced on reddit and is eerily reminiscent of several of the more widely panned F2P games in recent memory.
It makes me sad to think of all the games that could really be fun and considered high quality if not for the rabid monetization of the current F2P trend in mobile gaming. Despite the low-quality Photoshop work in these images, it’s still a chilling vision of a future that we’re already living, somewhat.
