I’m known for (among other things) my relative disappointment with inFAMOUS. I thought the game was “okay” but it could have been far more than it was. Along comes inFAMOUS 2, and a new gameplay trailer that seems to indicate that this sequel IS going to be everything it had the potential to be. I didn’t think I’d say it, but this footage makes me excited in my underpants!
It looks faster, more fluid, and way more over-the-top than the first game did. Not to mention, I actually dig the new look and voice of Cole. Gone is the bad Solid Snake impression, and there’s no douchebag beard as seen in the first inFAMOUS 2 concept art. I… I really like where this is going.
Things are a tad too early to say for sure, but I am really encouraged by what I have seen here. Sucker Punch may yet make a believer out of me!
