Injustice 2 seems pretty real

Polygon has obtained a flier for Injustice [Not Gods Among Us] 2, a follow-up to the DC Comics oriented fighter from 2013. The existence of a sequel has already been heavily rumored, but this pre-E3 leak seems to cement it.

The only information we have at the moment is the tagline (“Every battle defines you”) and the fact that the predicable Batman and Flash are fighting it out. Evidently these posters are free for customers who pre-order at GameStop, and there are placeholders for PS4 and Xbox One, which makes sense. Though, I can easily see it being a PlayStation exclusive just like Guilty Gear and Street Fighter V — even if it’s timed — to be announced at Sony’s conference. Eurogamer reports that it will be revealed later this week though so you can probably ignore all that.

Is it too soon to get excited for the Game of the Year edition already, before this thing is even announced? It is WB after all! We’ve reached out for comment from the publisher for Injustice 2, the potential GOTY follow-up, a broken unsupported PC port, and the possibility of Clayface DLC.
