Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Nintendo Switch could open up a world of portability, and Capcom’s Monster Hunter series has seen its fair of success on the handheld. Other games from the genre, like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, are available on the platform, so why not Capcom’s grand adventure?
Can you play a Dragon’s Dogma 2 Nintendo Switch port?
Despite Capcom’s recent offerings on the Nintendo Switch like Monster Hunter Rise, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is not available on the platform. The epic RPG is playable on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC systems. It’s even leaving the PS4 and Xbox One to the dust, similar to a dragon’s flame on grass.
Are there any RPGs like this on the system?
There are plenty of fantasy RPGs like Dragon’s Dogma 2 on the Nintendo’s hybrid platform, including the original title’s Dark Arisen, which comes with the first game and DLC.
Additionally, you can check out The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Switch version has the previously available DLC installed alongside the main content. You can alsiao dress your Dragonborn as The Legend of Zelda‘s Link, Master Sword in hand, which is a pretty neat console exclusive.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has a spectacular Switch port, knowing how big the open world is and how deep the combat players have to understand. “Yes, it’s certainly a graphical downgrade, but the story, voice work and gameplay are all intact,” said our review of the port. “Combat is smooth, and the frame rate is consistent even when you’re being attacked on all sides.”
