We’re talking about Bruno, gasp!
Gameloft’s latest kart racer, Disney Speedstorm, has just left the start line and is now drifting into its Early Access period, but is there any sign of any inclusion from Disney’s recent franchise, Encanto?
Other Disney characters like Hercules and Jack Sparrow are included, but Encanto is one of the most recently released – and loved – films in the House of Mouse’s history. Here’s everything we know about Encanto in Disney Speedstorm.
Is there any Encanto Disney Speedstorm representation?
At the time of writing, there are no Encanto characters or race courses featured in Disney Speedstorm, so no joy for Mirabel fans as of yet. However, there are quite a few female characters in the game already, including Beauty and the Beast’s Belle, Mulan, Pirates of the Caribbean‘s Elizabeth Swann, and Hercules‘ Meg. Strangely Minnie Mouse herself isn’t in the game yet. I think it’s only a matter of time.
Is there a chance for Encanto in Disney Speedstorm? Definitely. As noted above, the film is incredibly popular. It’s actually the most-watched film between 2020 and 2023 on streaming platforms, according to Dan Murrell. In my opinion, Encanto characters in Disney Speedstorm are pretty much inevitable.
When does Disney Speedstorm fully release?
It is expected to see the full version of Disney Speedstorm released either sometime later this year or early next year. “In listening to the feedback we received from our players during the Closed Beta, we realized we need a bit more time to deliver a polished competitive racing game our team will be proud of that will offer additional game elements we believe will excite and encourage fans to return to our racetracks over and over again,” said developer Gameloft on Steam.
While we wait, you can meet Mirabel in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the Animal Crossing-like title also from Gameloft.
