A WWE 2K24 MyGM mode would provide an entertaining distraction to the action in the ring. You’d be able to manage your favorite show and determine who gets each belt.
Will a WWE 2K24 MyGM mode be included?
Those who enjoyed the MyGM mode in past WWE games should be happy to know it’s included in WWE 2K24. “Oversee the biggest brands and Superstars in sports entertainment as you challenge rival general managers for the top spot in MyGM,” says the official WWE 2K24 Steam listing. “Explore more match types, more brands, and new general managers.”
You’ll also be able to trade superstars between brands, which is an interesting addition. Previously, this only happened when Superstars were fed up with their current manager and messaged you about joining your brand.
It’s unlikely Stephanie McMahon will return in WWE 2K24 as a general manager. She left the company in January 2023 after Vince McMahon assumed control and hasn’t returned as of the time of writing. With Vince now out of the company due to recent sexual assault allegations, fans are hopeful for her return.
Are there new modes?
WWE 2K24 is adding new match types into the mix. You can be a Guest Referee and take matters into your own hands. The game also adds Casket, Gauntlet, and Ambulance matches. You’ll also gain “support for multiple Superstars in Backstage Brawl,” according to the Steam page.
By the way, the 2K showcase this year is about Forty Years of WrestleMania. WWE 2K24 will be a retelling of the greatest moments throughout the past four decades. That might be why Muhammad Ali is included in the game, as he was the guest referee for the first WrestleMania main event.
WWE 2K24 drops the elbow on March 8 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. Unfortunately, no Switch version is coming.
