WWE 2K24 on Nintendo Switch would let you take the game’s wrestling action wherever you want: on the train, on the plane, and at the Smackdown hotel. Past games haven’t been released for the popular platform, however; here’s what we know.
Can you play a WWE 2K24 Nintendo Switch version?
As of the time of writing, there’s currently no WWE 2K24 Nintendo Switch version entering the squared circle. It will be released for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. Hopefully, a WWE game arrives on Nintendo’s next system, whenever that may be.
If you want to play a 2K sports game on the Nintendo Switch, you can check out the NBA 2K series on there. Unfortunately, the last entry ranked poorly, no matter what system you have it on. It has a 68 OpenCritic rating, with only 33% of critics recommending the game.
“NBA 2K24 offers an extremely polished experience, given its unrivalled on-court feel and a few welcome additions, but questionable decisions and an uncanny push toward microtransactions hurt what could otherwise be considered a natural step forward for the franchise,” said our sister site Attack of the Fanboy’s review.
Can you play WWE 2K24 on the go?
If you want to take the experience portably, it would be best played on a system like the Steam Deck or the ROG Ally. They’re PCs you can bring with you, like a Nintendo Switch. They can be docked as well if you want a typical PC experience.
While you can’t take it anywhere with you, except for public wi-fi and within the house, the PlayStation Portal is another way to play WWE 2K24 portably. It streams the content from your PS5 to the device.
Something else to keep in mind is that rival game AEW Fight Forever is available for the Nintendo Switch. It’s an option, especially if you watch both of the products.
