This is probably the best Dead Space 2 trailer since the initial one way back when. Why is that? Well, we already know protagonist Isaac Clarke will be shooting Necromorphs on the Sprawl; kind of a given at this point, really. But the action-oriented sequences, on the other hand — those are newish and more exciting.
My favorite parts of the original game were those in which you were out in space. It was harder to see, the noise was dampened, and the vibe in general was creepier than anything else in the game. It’s reassuring to see that Visceral knew to keep stuff like that firmly in place, and hopefully it’ll expand on it, too.
