You played your way through the Resident Evil 4 remake until the end, and it left you with one burning question: what in the hell happened to Leon’s kickass jacket? Indeed, our dear protagonist had the jacket early in the game. Thankfully, it hasn’t stayed missing forever. It makes a glorious return in the RE4 Remake Separate Ways DLC as part of the Jacket of All Trades request.
Naturally, you need to find it and return it to the Merchant. You get the request in Chapter 3 of the DLC just before you enter the Factory. Your hunt for Luis Sera takes you through the building, where a few Ganados lurk. You can use stealth to take them down or go in guns blazing. Either way, you need to clear the area; there’s something more at stake. As mentioned in the request, the jacket has “been stolen” by a “grubby thief.” Time to get it back.
Where to find the jacket in the Factory
As the second task given to you by the Merchant, the request is not too challenging. Basically, all you need to do is make your way through the factory until you reach a large room with two furnaces against the wall to your right. If you made it here using stealth, you won’t have attracted the attention of a Ganado popping a squat next to a furnace. His back is to you, allowing you to get near. And look at what he’s wearing. That’s right, it’s our thief.
Your reward for finishing Jacket of All Trades request
You can kill him via stealth or with a noisier method. Either way, he drops the jacket for you to pick up. Head back to the Merchant and sell the jacket for 5,000 pesetas, earning seven Spinel. If you’re loaded up on Spinel, save at least five for the fifth chapter. There’s a useful upgrade waiting for you if you do.
