Wreck-It Ralph was a hugely successful movie that managed to appeal to not only video game fans, but a wider audience too. In a move that surprised absolutely nobody, they announced plans for a sequel very soon after the initial movie released.
Speaking to Irish radio station RTE Arena, actor John C. Reilly who played the titular Ralph has now confirmed that not only is the sequel already in production, but also that he has signed on to play Ralph. What an unbelievable shocker, Wreck-It Ralph 2 is going to star Wreck-It Ralph in some form.
Hopefully the confirmation that Reilly is on board means that more news on a sequel is coming sooner than later. What do you want to see the sequel focus on? A Mario crossover? Maybe a focus on the move from arcade gaming to console and mobile? Personally, I’m hoping for the sequel to acknowledge weird hentai sex games… Just me?
