Journey wins big at the BAFTA Game Awards

The Walking Dead and Unfinished Swan win two awards each

Looks like the folks at thatgamecompany might need a new trophy cabinet after Journey picked up five BAFTA Game Awards last night at the ceremony in London. The PlayStation Network title won awards for Artistic Achievement, Audio Achievement, Game Design, Online Multiplayer and Original Music. 

Journey wasn’t the only downloadable title to win awards; fellow PSN title Unfinished Swan won two awards for Game Innovation and Best Debut and Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead won awards for Best Story, Best Mobile and Handheld Award. Elsewhere, iOS puzzler The Room won the award for Best British Game.

Arkane Studio’s Dishonored however won Game of the Year with Far Cry 3 and XCOM: Enemy Unknown winning Best Action and Best Strategy Awards respectively. Gabe Newell was also there to be inducted into the BAFTA fellowship alongside other videogame luminaries such as Will Wright and Shigeru Miyamoto.
