There’s no getting around it; the Just Dance series is huge. Like, really huge. Here’s some stats to put it into perspective. Since launching back in October, Just Dance 3 has a total of 8.4 million players. According to Ubisoft, that’s equivalent to the attendence of 84 Bonnaroo festivals. On a daily basis, 9.4 million minutes of Just Dance 3 is played. That’s 17 years of non-stop dancing!
I’ll personally never understand why so many people are playing these games. Sure, it’s convenient and it’s fun to play with friends. But if you wanted to dance that bad you could always just as easily go out and dance yourself. I guess it’s getting people to play games and that’s always a good thing. I’m sure a few of you out there are part of the 8.4 million user base, so what exactly is it that keeps you coming back to the game?
