Marvelous Entertainment has revealed its newest 3DS game in the pages of Famitsu magazine. It’s called Kagura: Portrait of Girls, a side-scrolling action game starring five kunoichi who lose articles of clothing upon incurring damage. If this sounds similar to the company’s Ikki Tousen games, that’s because Kagura‘s director, Kenichiro Takaki, was in charge of those as well.
I can already hear Jonathan Holmes getting nervous, but rest easy, my friend! Kagura doesn’t appear to be the 2D title that Marvelous was hinting at a while ago. Plus, the game is being penned by Yukinori Kitajima, the scenario writer for both Ōkamiden and the critically acclaimed visual novel 428. At the very least, there will be some substance behind all the cheesecake.
One thing I can almost guarantee, however, is that the West will probably never get this. How am I gonna get my softcore porn on the go now?
