It’s looking like a keeper
Admittedly, Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom isn’t my normal jam. It’s doing the grand action-adventure RPG thing, which I can occasionally sink deep into, but it’s rare these days that I feel like I can take on that sort of time commitment. There are a lot of false starts. “Oh, well, maybe I’ll finish it one day!”
That said, the game wowed me at E3. It has this surprising fighting-game edge to its combat that I didn’t expect at all, and the backstory of its development is involved, to say the least. Today’s a great chance to bring that up, actually — this latest developer diary from Enigami gets straight into it.
Shiness is now looking at an early December release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One by way of Focus Home Interactive. I have a feeling it’s going to make some of you very happy.
