Eight new fighters including TJ Combo and Maya
Season 2 of Killer Instinct begins on October 15, 2014. Fans can expect new fighters, enhanced game modes, and a revamped interface.
The Ultra Edition will cost $39.99 and will include eight fighters starting with TJ Combo and Maya. New fighters will be added each month from there. This pack will also include costumes, accessories, a perfect port of Killer Instinct 2 Classic with full multiplayer support over Live, and general early access to special stuff.
Then there’s the Combo Breaker pack for $19.99. This just includes the eight fighters. Otherwise you can purchase fighters individually as they’re made available for $4.99 each. Oh, and you can start playing with TJ Combo early if you buy the Ultra Edition between September 23 – October 14. You’ll also get Killer Instinct 2 Classic early.
Finally, the season one soundtrack AND the original Killer Cuts soundtrack will be available on September 23. Hell yeah!
